The Journal of Insect Biology and Applied Entomology (JIBAE) is committed to maintaining a transparent and fair Article Processing Charges (APC) policy. APCs help support editorial management, peer review, copyediting, production, online publication, website maintenance and long-term digital preservation of published articles.
Authors may be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) only after their manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.
Submission of manuscripts is free. No payment is requested during manuscript submission or peer review.

The journal may consider partial or full APC waivers in exceptional cases, subject to editorial approval and the journal's financial policies. Requests for waivers should be submitted before publication.
Once editorial production has started after acceptance, APC payments are generally non-refundable. Refund requests will only be considered under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Publisher.
