Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts may undergo plagiarism screening before peer review. The Editorial Office carefully evaluates similarity reports to distinguish between legitimate citations, commonly used scientific terminology and unacceptable text overlap.

  • All manuscripts are checked before peer review.
  • Similarity reports are reviewed by the Editorial Office.
  • Scientific judgment is applied when interpreting similarity results.
  • Authors may be asked to revise manuscripts where necessary.

Author Responsibilities

  • Submit only original and unpublished work.
  • Properly cite all sources, ideas, figures and data.
  • Use quotation marks where direct quotations are necessary.
  • Obtain permission for copyrighted material when required.
  • Avoid duplicate publication and redundant submission.
  • Ensure that all co-authors approve the submitted manuscript.

Editorial Actions

If plagiarism is suspected before publication, the Editorial Office may request clarification, revision or supporting documentation from the authors. Depending on the severity of the case, one or more of the following actions may be taken:

  • Request manuscript revision.
  • Reject the manuscript.
  • Suspend editorial processing.
  • Notify the corresponding author.
  • Inform the author's institution when appropriate.

Post-Publication Cases

If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal may publish a correction, expression of concern or retraction depending on the seriousness of the ethical issue. Appropriate actions may also be taken to preserve the integrity of the scientific record.
